Organization Tip #3 - Conquering the Bathroom!

Whether you have one bathroom for the whole family, or multiple spaces, chances are you could use some help organizing!

1) ORGANIZING BY PERSON:

- color coordinating towels keep each family member responsible for their own

- laundry separators - organize by person or by type of load

- wall-hung dispenser keeps bath free of bottles and neatly stores shampoo, conditioner and body wash

2) MAKING USE OF SMALL SPACES:

- create an entire wall of storage using super-narrow shelves for small bath items

- carve out some space in-between studs in the wall for hidden, recessed shelving

- side walls can also be used for shelving - add a mirror and glass shelves to visually enlarge the space

3) STORAGE IN UNUSUAL SPACES

- keep the bath toys in order with this wall hung (or tile suctioned) toy holder with large scoop

- extra rolls of toilet paper (and sure, magazines) can be hung off the side of the toilet tank, reducing the need for additional cabinetry

- hang a towel rack on the back of the door to minimize wall clutter

A Kid's First Job - 'Divine' Intervention

Organization Tip #2 - Transform Closet into Home Office

More and more people are working from home and are in desperate need of an office space. Many work-from-home employees don't have the luxury of an extra room or finished basement for their home office.

We have the solution!

Transition an unused closet (yeah, right) or one that can be better used (more like it) as a home office! Think guest room, small pantry, old toy storage, etc.

Creating a home office out of a closet is easier than you'd think. Bringing in old file drawers, basic shelving and a simple counter top provide function without breaking the bank. Personalize the space with color, accessories, and pattern and voila! - your own home office that can be neatly tucked away behind closet doors or curtains.
